Mother & Daughter

WHAT IS MOPS?

MOPS (Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers) is a community of moms which exists to encourage, support, and equip mothers.  We believe moms are world influencers. Better Moms make a better world.

WHO:

MOPS is for ANY mom who is pregnant or has children birth through Kindergarten. Motherhood is tough and we need each others support since we’re all in the thick of it.

But, wait! I still have kiddos who are a little older and in school! If so, check out MOMSnext (which meets at the same time).

WHAT:

MOPS & MOMSnext meetings serve moms who are in the thick of raising the world. Our meetings serve to provide support, to help equip, encourage, and develop ourselves to be better leaders and better moms through mentoring, conversation, relevant teaching and creative activities. We want moms to come and have fun, receive support, and relax!

CHILDCARE:

Better moms occasionally need to have a break! MOPS provides childcare in a loving and nurturing preschool style environment. Our MOPPET teachers and childcare workers love on our children during our meetings.

WHEN:

MOPS & MOMSnext meetings happen on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 9:15 - 11:15.

But, wait! What if I work? If so, check out our Evening MOPs group that meets in the evening!

WHERE:

We meet at:

Willowdale Chapel (Kennett Square Campus)

675 Unionville Rd.

Kennett Square, PA 19348

HOW:

If you are interested in MOPS & MOMSnext but aren’t sure if it is for you; you are always welcome to come try it out! If you become interested in being part of this group, please contact Amanda Irwin.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

What you can expect at your first meeting is to meet lots of other moms who are in the same stage of life, great conversation, a mentor mom who has been there, done that and can provide a listening ear and their encouragement.  On the 2nd Thursdays, there will be a speaker that is providing practical tools to us moms and on the 4th Thursday, we will do a fun craft/project or other engaging activity  - all while our children are cared for by our excellent MOPS Kids teachers and of course FOOD! (How could we meet with out that?!?!)
